Celebrity Image Wars: When They Try to Ruin What You Never Had
Ever get the feeling that some celebrities believe they’re the custodians of everyone’s image? It’s hilarious, the sheer absurdity of a celebrity trying to ruin your reputation when you never even had one to begin with. Imagine a world where a pop culture titan decides your nonexistent persona is so dangerous it needs a good, old-fashioned obliteration. That’s the level of entitlement and delusion we’re talking about.
I never had time to craft a glossy public persona. I was a young mom at 16, forced into survival mode long before anyone cared about filters or curated highlights. While most people spent their youth playing dress-up with their social masks, I was out here, juggling diapers, hustle, and a life that demanded authenticity over performance, and again into my early 30’s when my sister decided to use me for her image behind my back for over a decade. There was no room for artifice when every minute was consumed by real-life struggles.

And then, out of nowhere, a celebrity with an oversized ego thinks they can manipulate or tarnish the image of someone like me, someone whose image is raw, unpolished, and, frankly, irrelevant to them. It’s the strangest twist of modern media: while the celebrity is busy parading their carefully constructed image, trying to act as if they’re the guardian of cultural standards, they overlook the fact that real life isn’t a stage for manufactured perfection. My life was about survival, not spotlight, and I never cared about fitting into the glamorous narrative they peddle.
What’s truly bizarre is that these celebrity image “knights and dragons” they call themselves, who were brainwashed into thinking I was, seem to believe they have the right to police authenticity. They thrive on drama, using their platform to castigate anyone who doesn’t align with their vision of “perfection.” But here’s the thing: I was too busy fighting for my life, for my children & a family member hellbent on trying to use me for their own image while I built a future on my own terms, to care about their shallow theatrics. I never built a mask; I built a life.
In a world where vulnerability is currency and authenticity is undervalued, the irony of a celebrity trying to tarnish what I never even tried to polish is too rich. While they play their high-stakes game of social sabotage, I’m out here, unapologetically real, thriving on the grit and truth that no one can counterfeit. In fact I cared so little I committed my own ‘Statuscide’ with AI, just so I could expose their tactics.
So let them try to ruin my “image.” It’s already been reduced to the raw essence of survival, far removed from their fake smiles and staged tragedies. And in the end, while they continue their desperate pursuit of a facade, I’ll keep living my life unfiltered, open about what on my profile is business and what is not, because authenticity, unlike their manufactured image, can’t be stolen.
I’ve always been able to see the social game for what it is, (thanks to my centre of attention based mother) but I’ve never had the time to play it. What was misconstrued about the war I wage through my art or my motherhood being a performance was simply me using every tool I could to self-express. And I suppose now that I’ve finally acquired the tools to join the game, let me say this: you’re all screwed. I spent my whole life waiting to join in, and I learned skills that aren’t just a façade. Good luck keeping up, and explaining the lies you told.
Kind of weird, don't you think? Why would public figures obsess over crushing a nobody if they weren't nobodies themselves, haunted by the same unhealed traumas of childhood bullying? I was bullied too, so spare me the lame excuses. It's just their way of surviving long enough to become what they despise, even if it means using their own families as stepping stones. So what am I going to do about it?
Nothing, except show you how to build an image and brand for yourself, that shatters the twisted narratives and info they've fed you, and you’ll see in the series ‘How to build an image & brand identity’ the truth of the lies you’ve been told.
